Last December my brother’s life ended in a split second. He never knew what hit him or had any time to prepare. At the same time, I turned 60. It all hit hard how fragile and short our lives really are. Since that time, I’ve been making the best of every day, trying to to do a better job at showing ¬†kindness and compassion to those around me, and working on a bucket list.

Walking in the country is my form of meditation. The sights, sounds and smells of Nature keep me grounded. What would be a more fitting journey to begin the rest of my life than walking the Camino de Santiago!
